Sketch Of Santa Clara Apartment Suspect Released

Two incidents at separate apartments near Lick Mill Blvd and Hope Dr. have police on the lookout for a man who sexually assaulted a woman.

SANTA CLARA - Two separate incidents on consecutive Saturday nights at Santa Clara apartment complexes in the area of Lick Mill Blvd. and Hope Dr. have police on the lookout for at least one man.

On Saturday night, February 13, Santa Clara Police say a man entered an apartment in the area north of Highway 101 about 1:30 a.m. and sexually assaulted a woman.

After the assault, police say the suspect fled from the apartment. No suspect sketch is available for the case.

The suspect is described as a male 20-30 years old, approximately 5’ 7”, 180 lbs., with dark hair and a medium build.

A week later, on Saturday, February 20, a burglar entered an apartment located in the same area of Lick Mill Blvd and Hope Dr. about 3 a.m.

This suspect was confronted by a woman in the apartment, and he fled. Police note the second incident occurred at a different apartment complex, but in the same Santa Clara area.

The suspect in the second case - the burglary - is described as a light-skinned Hispanic, Indian or Middle Eastern male, 27-34 years old, 5’ 10”, 180 lbs., balding, and with a medium build.

The sketch included in this article is of the second suspect.

Residents in the area are encouraged to call 9-1-1 and report any suspicious activity to the police.

Police say more information will be released when it becomes available.
