$10K Donated To Open Heart Kitchen

Visit Tri-Valley is donating money raised during Taste Tri-Valley Restaurant Week to the meal program serving the hungry.

DANVILLE, CA — $10,000 raised during Taste Tri-Valley Restaurant Week is being donated to Open Heart Kitchen from Visit Tri-Valley.

Open Heart Kitchen is a hot meal program serving those in need of food in the Tri-Valley area. In 2021, the program served more than 500,000 meals to hungry neighbors, the kitchen said.

Taste Tri-Valley Restaurant Week is a 10-day promotion aimed at boosting revenue for the region and 2022’s event featured 40 restaurants, wineries and breweries.

Through raffle entries and sponsorships funds, Visit Tri-Valley raised more than $10,000 for Open Heart Kitchen, Visit Tri-Valley said.
