Danville Businesses Badly Damaged In Two-Alarm Fire
Moda Mi clothing store caught fire Monday night, with other businesses likely affected. 19 engines battled it, according to Pulsepoint.

DANVILLE, CA — A two-alarm fire badly damaged at least two businesses in downtown Danville Monday night, according to witnesses and the Pulsepoint app.
The fire broke out at around 9:50 p.m. Monday at 115 East Prospect Avenue, according to Pulsepoint. Fadi, an employee at Lottie's Creamery across the street, was closing up for the night when he saw smoke and flames at Moda Mi, a clothing store at 140 East Prospect Street.
Fire departments arrived quickly, and 19 engines arrived, according to Pulsepoint. Patch is awaiting further information from the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District.

Pulsepoint marked the fire as closed at 2:26 a.m. Tuesday.
Nick, another employee at Lottie's Creamery, told Patch that Taru Japanese Cuisine, which borders Moda Mi, was also affected. Video taken by Fadi confirms that Moda Mi caught fire, but Patch has not been able to confirm the status of surrounding businesses. Patch reached out to both Moda Mi and Taru for further information.

According to Nick, the structures are still standing, but they were badly damaged and boarded up Tuesday.
