Danville Commemorating Veterans Day With Service, Museum Exhibit, Mt. Diablo Beacon Lighting
The Veterans Memorial Building will honor veterans and service members with activities, exhibits, and services throughout the day.
DANVILLE, CA — The Town of Danville and the Veterans Memorial Building of San Ramon Valley are hosting their annual Veterans Day commemoration, which will feature a service and museum exhibit.
On Nov. 11, veterans, active-duty members, and their families are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, alongside the Danville Town Council.
A Veterans Day ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the building to honor veterans who have served the country. A Huey helicopter will be outside the building.

From 9-5 p.m., visitors can enjoy an open house and museum exhibit honoring the building's 100 years. Visitors can learn about the life in Danville in the 1920s, rockets, outer space, and view military vehicles.
At 4:40 p.m. at the flagpole, local veterans organizations will gather at the Veterans Memorial Building to light the Mt. Diablo Beacon.
