Danville Halloween Decor Contest, Prize Awards: How To Enter

DANVILLE, CA — Think you've got one of the spookiest homes in Danville? San Ramon Valley residents still have some time to enter the second annual 2021 Halloween Home & Yard Decorating Contest.

The contest, organized by realtor Jamie Roberts, will include prize giveaways worth $250 from local vendors for winners in three categories: most spooky or scary, most creative and most unique/judge's choice. Streets with at least five house registered will also be entered into a drawing for an ice cream event.

The first 50 households to enter will also have a $5 donation made on their behalf to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.

Register by 9 p.m. Friday and get your homes ready for judging by 5 p.m. Oct. 25. Judging will end Oct. 29.

All participants will have their addresses listed "on a spooktacular Halloween drive-by listing for your neighbors to safely take in all of the hocus pocus and ghostly decor" Roberts wrote.
