DANVILLE, CA — A Danville native studying nursing in Ohio organized a blood drive in hopes to connect COVID-19 patients with antibodies.

Emily Greenhouse, a junior at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, organized the event through her internship with the Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program.

The Red Cross performed COVID-19 antibody testing on each donation, according to a news release from the university. Donors will be notified if antibodies are detected in their donations.
