DANVILLE, CA — Woofie’s, a mobile pet care franchise owned by a Danville family, plans to celebrate the Fourth of July in style.

The first Woofie’s franchise to open in California offers pet sitting, dog walking, grooming, a pet taxi, and other personalized services to dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, reptiles and other pets.

To celebrate its grand opening, Woofie’s will drive its luxury mobile pet spa down Hartz Avenue during the Kiwanis-Danville 4th of July parade, and hand out free gifts. Later, guests and their dogs can enjoy complimentary pet nail cuts, brush outs, a balloon artist, and character drawings, in addition to a raffle for prizes.

“Pets bring something happy and healthy to a community – there is nothing better than having a pet. Despite any differences we may have, we all can understand the love of a pet. And because Woofie’s is a mobile business, it enables us to serve more people and their fur babies in the East Bay area with a variety of premium services,” Sohal said in a statement.
Woofie’s is currently hiring dog walkers, pet sitters, Bed & Biscuit sitters, groomers and bathers. Visit woofies.com for more information.
