Danville Police Department To Host Community Open House

Attendees will enjoy guided tours, participate in roleplaying scenarios, see equipment, and meet their local officers.

DANVILLE, CA — The Danville Police Department is hosting a free Open House event on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 500 La Gonda Way. The family-friendly event is designed to allow the community to explore the inner workings of the department, and meet their local officers.

Attendees will enjoy guided tours of the Danville Police Department, K9 unit demonstrations, participate in interactive scenarios where they pretend to be a police officer, and see patrol vehicles and equipment up close. They will also get to meet officers and ask them questions and learn more about community policing efforts.

Refreshments will be provided.
