Danville's Veterans Memorial Building To Celebrate Turning 100
The community is invited to attend a family-friendly event honoring a century of history at the Veterans Memorial Building on March 30.

DANVILLE, CA — The Veterans Memorial Building of San Ramon Valley is turning 100 and to mark the occasion, Danville is throwing the historic center a party next weekend.
The community-wide event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 30.
To celebrate and reflect on a century of history, the city of Danville is inviting the community to attend a day of WWI-themed displays, vintage vehicles, historic photo exhibits and more, the city announced on Sunday.

Next weekend, attendees will also be able to explore downtown Danville's history with a walking tour as period role players bring a bygone era back to life.
Families can participate in a scavenger hunt, art activities and more.

"Don’t miss this special opportunity to honor 100 years of community," the city said on Social Media.
The Veterans Memorial Building is located at 400 Hartz Ave.
