DUSD One Of Best School Districts In Bay Area For 2025: Niche

Dublin Unified School District was once again ranked as one of the best in the Bay Area and California by education website Niche.

DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin Unified School District was once again ranked one of the best public school districts in the Bay Area and California by ranking website Niche.

Niche ranked DUSD as the third best school district in Alameda County (behind Piedmont Unified School District in second place, and Pleasanton Unified School District in first), the 12th best in the Bay Area, the 38th best in California, and the 222nd best in the United States. The district received an overall grade of A+, based on quantitative data and parent and student surveys. Its academics and college prep both received an A+, its teachers received an A, and clubs and activities received an A-. It was ranked lowest in Sports (B), Administration (B), and Food (C+).

Dublin High School received an overall grade of A+, and was ranked the fifth best public high school in Alameda County. DHS was the only DUSD school to receive an individual Niche ranking.

The private K-12 Quarry Lane School also scored extremely well, and was ranked the second best private K-12 school in California. It received an overall ranking of A+, and also earned an A+ score for academics, teachers, diversity, and college prep.

Nearby, Pleasanton Unified School District scored an A+, and ranked first in Alameda County, as it has for a few years, fifth in the Bay Area, and 11th in California. The San Ramon Valley Unified School District also received an A+, and ranked second in Contra Costa County, 10th in the Bay Area, and 30th in California. The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District received an A-, and was ranked 10th in Alameda County, 26th in the Bay Area, and 112th in California.

The Palo Alto Unified School District was ranked the best public school district in California, while the Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 north of Chicago was ranked best in the country.
