Hartz Avenue Portion To Close Tuesday

DANVILLE, CA — Hartz Avenue will be closed between Diablo Road and Prospect Avenue for repaving Tuesday, the town announced.

From 5 a.m. to roughly 1 p.m., crews will complete repairs caused by a water line break Nov. 23. This will include grinding down the pavement and laying fresh asphalt.

Final striping will occur Wednesday from about 4:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., but is not expected to cause road closures.
