Hot Summer Sundays Car Show Coming To Danville

The popular car show will result in street closures downtown Sunday.

DANVILLE, CA —All the best vintage and muscle cars are driving down to Danville Sunday for the Hot Summer Sundays Car Show, resulting in street closures throughout the day.

The event will take place downtown between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The following streets will be closed between 6-11 a.m., when cars are staging:

  • Hartz Avenue between Railroad Avenue and East Prospect Avenue
  • Diablo Road between Hartz Avenue and Front Street

The following closures will last from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

  • Front Street from Diablo Road to the Library/Community Center Parking Lot
  • Village Theatre Municipal Lot;
  • Front Street Municipal Parking Lot;
  • East Prospect Avenue between Hartz Avenue and Front Street;

Due to construction, visitors should use the El Cerro Boulevard exit from the north and Sycamore Valley Boulevard from the south off I-680. Construction remains in progress at the intersection of Hartz Avenue and East Prospect Avenue.
