I have a BA in political science and a MS in environmental policy and management. I am a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. I am also a real estate broker. 3. What brought you here?

I was born in the Bay Area and have lived in the tri valley area most of my life. Love the weather here. Except for this summer.

4. How have you been involved in the community?

My husband and I had a program Music in the Schools and we worked with many schools in the area with fundraising to help keep their music programs running.

5. What do you feel are some of the biggest challenges facing the community/school community?

Traffic congestion and the penalties that the Town can face with Danville’s housing element which is a key part of the City’s overall plan.

My daughter has 3 young boys in school and I know a big concern that exists is campus safety.

6. What are your plans for addressing them?

I would like to contribute and be a part of Danville’s future housing plans and with regard to schools make sure the schools maintain updated comprehensive safety plans.

7. What makes you the best candidate?

I am not a life long politician. My background has included working at the city, county state and federal levels and making important decisions so I have an insiders view of how political decisions are implemented. I also owe no one favors and used my own funds to finance the campaign.

8. Outside of politics, what do you enjoy doing?

Tennis, softball, boating and watching my grandsons grow up.

9. Any other comments?

I have been told many times that incumbents never lose in the town of Danville and I am hoping I can win a seat on the council. Lastly, I am retired except for my sport endeavors.
