'Melded Metals' Exhibit Opens Saturday At Village Art Gallery

DANVILLE, CA — The Village Theatre Art Gallery is hosting an opening reception Saturday for "Melded Metals," a new exhibition exploring the artistic potential of different kinds of metal.

"Though metal is often associated with strength, hardness, and utility, the artists featured in Melded Metals have transformed raw and unyielding surfaces into works of art that reveal unexpected warmth, fluidity, and beauty," the town said in a statement. "Through sculpture, design, and mixed media, the exhibition highlights the versatility of metal as an artistic medium and invites visitors to reconsider its place in both art and everyday life."

The free opening reception will take place Saturday from 4-6 p.m. Guests will be able to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments. The exhibition will run at the gallery until Dec. 19. See here for more information.
