Nate Schierholtz: Reader Shares Photos from the Giants in Philly

Reader Jim Mohr caught the Phillies vs. Giants game in Philadelphia and passed us a few pics of San Ramon Valley grad Nate Schierholtz.

There's a piece of Danville in the outfield for the San Francisco Giants and his name is Nate Schierholtz. The young outfielder graduated from San Ramon Valley High School and, so far, as played in nearly 500 games for the National League team.

On Friday, Danville Patch reader Jim Mohr happened to catch a Giants game in Philadelphia. He snapped a few photos and took a video of SRV's own Schierholtz.

"I was in Philadelphia this weekend and saw the SF Giants play the Phillies.  Danville's Nate Schierholtz went 1-3 Friday and scored two runs, hit a double on Saturday and went 2-5 Sunday with two homeruns, two RBIs and two runs scored," Mohr emailed to us.
