Alleged Carjacker's Joyride Ends at Gunpoint: San Ramon Police

The 20-year-old suspect was arrested, believed to have stolen a car at gunpoint Saturday morning.

SAN RAMON, CA- A carjacker's joyride reportedly came to an end in San Ramon Saturday morning, when the suspect was arrested in the Safeway parking lot.

News 24/680 reports that officers arrested Paul Lodestein, 20, a transient of Fairfield and Hayward, who was allegedly spotted driving a stolen vehicle on Bollinger Canyon Road.

The suspect reportedly stole the victim’s car at gunpoint just after 2:30 a.m., shortly before he was apprehended by San Ramon Police officers. Read more here.
