San Ramon Valley Boulevard Construction Begins Tuesday
The an Ramon Valley Boulevard Improvements Project is expected to bring intermittent lane closures and traffic delays.
DANVILLE, CA — The town of Danville is launching a capital improvement project along San Ramon Valley Boulevard Tuesday, which will result in traffic delays, intermittent lane closures, and parking restrictions for the following three to five weeks, the town announced.
The San Ramon Valley Boulevard Improvements Project will include fiber optic upgrades, new bicycle infrastructure, and pavement maintenance. Work will begin on at the Danville city limits, near the intersection with Fostoria Way. The first segment will include work from Fostoria Way to Fountain Springs Drive, followed by Sycamore Valley Road to Hartz Way. The segments in between require a different level of repair, and will be done after the first two segments.
Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The projects hours are set to avoid rush times, but may include intermittent lane closures and one-way traffic controls. Last week, the contractor notified residences and businesses along the work route of the upcoming project. Traffic management measures will be in place, including construction signs, flaggers and control devices. "No Parking" signs will be posted at least 72 hours in advance.
