Senior Center In Danville Celebrates 10 Years
A popular community gathering space is celebrating a milestone.

DANVILLE, CA — A lot of history lives within the walls of the Danville Veterans Memorial Building, that goes without saying. It was originally built in 1925 to honor World War I Veterans.
In 2012 after a lot of renovations, it reopened as the Veterans Memorial Building and Danville Senior Center. Since then, more memories have been created as it serves as a local hub for many in the community, not just seniors.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the building, the Town of Danville is having a party. There will be an open-house-style event April 28.
