SPARC Theater To Perform "Merry Wives Of Windsor" At Village Theatre
Performances of the Shakespeare comedy will run throughout August, including a special Shakespeare-themed Family Day.
DANVILLE, CA — Tickets are available for “Sir John Falstaff and the Merry Wives of Windsor,” a SPARC production that will play at the Village Theatre from Aug. 8-24.
The SPARC performance reimagines the Shakespeare comedy about a man who attempts to woo two married women for financial gain by placing it just after the American Civil War. The new setting will offer a new, more contemporary perspective on the play’s timeless themes, which include power, pride, community, and manners.
On Aug. 17, SPARC Theater will host a special Family Day at its matinee performance, where families can learn about Shakespeare and his work and enjoy creative activities and free giveaways. Discounted tickets for Family Day are available for children and students by using the promotional code SHAKESPEAREFAM when selecting seats for the Aug. 17 performance.

Shows will take place on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. from Aug. 8-24.
