SRVEF Run For Education Registration Open
The run raises money for SRVUSD school programs, and features a 10K, 5K, race for young kids, carnival, and more.
DANVILLE, CA — Registration is open for the 42nd annual San Ramon Valley Education Foundation Run for Education. Each year, around 5,000 people participate and help the SRVEF fund things like elementary school maker spaces, teacher grants, science kits, musical instruments, art supplies, science projects, technology, school libraries, and more.
This year's race will take place on Oct. 12 and will feature a 10K and 5K Walk/Run certified by USA Track and Field.
The schedule is as follows:

- 10K starts at 8 a.m. at Charlotte Wood Middle School, 600 El Capitan Drive, Danville
- 5K Walk/Run starts at 8:30 a.m. at 2700 Camino Ramon, San Ramon
- Friendship Run for participants with special needs and their supporters starts at 9:45 a.m.
- Mini Run for participants aged 2-6 stats at 10:15 a.m.
- The Expo will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and features a kids' zone, inflatable games, a face painter, photo moments, crafts, exhibitor booths, and more.

"The SRVEF Run for Education is a tradition that we look forward to every year,” said SRVEF Board Member Lisa Blackwell. “Our kids have participated in it since they were little, and now they bring their kids, making it three generations of us creating memories and coming together as a community while raising much needed funds for our San Ramon Valley Unified schools.”
