Tassajara Hills Elementary School Celebrates "Kidpreneur Day"
76 student businesses offered everything from a crocheted octopus to handcrafted dragons.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville youngsters embraced their entrepreneurial genius at Tassajara Hills Elementary School’s first Kidpreneur Day. 76 student-run businesses packed the school’s assembly hall, which was transformed into a vibrant marketplace of stalls selling student inventions.
Students offered just about everything, including paper quilling cards, crocheted octopi, paper succulents, hyperspring slinkies, and all varieties of slime. Many stalls were educational, and offered information on topics like climate change and composting. After narrowing down 93 applications to 50 vendor spots, seven overall winners were chosen by guest judges (listed in alphabetical order, photos by parent Neil Chua).
