Hartz Avenue will be closed to vehicles Sunday, Sept. 22 for a fundraiser event benefiting Parkinson's research and patient care.
The event, D'Elegance, will cause road closures beginning at 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday on Hartz Avenue spanning from Diablo Road to Hartz Way.
Intersections along that route will also be closed, as will E. Prospect between Front St. and Hartz Ave. A PDF of the closures is attached to this e-mail.
Car enthusiasts will begin parking along the route early in the day with the D’Elegance event will run from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A large crowd is expected so there will be pedestrian traffic through the area. Motorists are asked to exercise caution downtown.
Railroad Ave. and Front St. have been designated as alternate routes through the downtown area.
