Village Theatre & Art Gallery Seeks Artists For Juried Exhibition

Entries for the new exhibition will be accepted in the mediums of painting, photography and sculpture.

From The Village Theatre & Art Gallery: The Village Theatre & Art Gallery is putting out the call for artists for the 7th Annual Juried Exhibition entitled, ‘Pleasing to the Palette.’ Food and art share a long history and this summer the Village Theatre Art Gallery would like to show off these delectable delights! Entries for the new exhibition will be accepted in the mediums of painting, photography and sculpture. For detailed information on submitting artwork, go to: www.villagetheatreartgallery.com. Deadline to submit entries for the exhibition is May 19, 2017.

Exhibition Juror Maria Medua serves as the Director of the SFMOMA Artists Gallery, where she has organized more than 50 gallery exhibitions and hasworked closely with 300 artists from the Bay Area and beyond. As a consultant to more than 150 businesses, she has helped plan rotating shows as well as acquisitions for 65 permanent corporate collections.

An Opening Reception is scheduled for Friday, June 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be served. The exhibit will run through August 18, 2017.

The Village Theatre and Art Gallery is open to visitors Wednesday through Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday by appointment only. The Art Gallery is closed on Sundays. Admission is free.
