Update: Suspects in 20-Year-Old Man's W. Davis Beating Arrested
The Police released a statement on Twitter.

Update: The Davis Police Department announced on Twitter that two people suspected of beating a 20-year-old in West Davis have been arrested. We'll add more information when it becomes available, but for now, here's their tweet: Davis Police Detectives arrest both suspects responsible for the robbery and beating at 1500 Shasta.

Here is a release from the Davis Police Department:
Officers were dispatched to the area of Hwy 113 and Covell Blvd. for a fight between 3 males. The subjects subsequently ran across Covell Blvd. and ended up in the 1500 Shasta apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers found the 20 year old victim unconscious from a head injury on the south side of 1500 Shasta. He was rushed to the UCD Medical Center in Sacramento for treatment and is recovering from his injuries.

The 20 yr old male victim is an Oakland resident who claimed he was visiting Davis. According to the victim, he was approached by two males while walking on the north side of Covell Blvd. by Hwy 113. The suspects demanded the victim’s cell phone and money. When the victim tried to escape, the suspects chased him into the apartment complex at 1500 Shasta. The victim claimed he was beaten and hit in the head with a club-like weapon.
The two suspects are still outstanding and are described as African American males in their late teens to early twenties. Both were wearing white baggy t-shirts, and one was wearing a dark colored baseball cap. Both suspects were approximately 6 feet in height with a medium build. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone, wallet, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
