Really sad news. One of our own, alumnus John Craik of Gardnerville, Nev., was one of those killed at the Reno air race crash. John was a member of the Cal Aggie Band-uh! and the extended Band-uh! family is reeling from the news.
Craik was at the event with his son and two of this son’s friends. All three children escaped with minimal injuries. Wilhite told RGJ.com that she believes Craik may have helped save their lives.
Craik's sister-in-law talks about the accident in this video.
