The planning commission will consider adopting a study at their meeting Wednesday night.
The section of 5th Street that cuts through downtown has been problematic for a long time. Not only are there many accidents on the street, but some call it a “barrier” between north Davis and the city center.
Community blogger John Lofland has even posted 16 photo essays on his blog of accidents on that street, including the one pictured in this article.
