Are Black Widows Everywhere in Davis? (VIDEO)
"Around Davis you can find them in garages, woodpiles, under decks, and hiding in other dark places."
This video of a black widow spider surfaced on YouTube this week. In it, the user says she “found this black widow spider under a flowerpot. They like to hide under things.”
She goes on to say that Black Widows are everywhere in Davis right now. I personally haven’t seen any, but I also haven’t been lifting any flowerpots, and I live in a second-story apartment.
The Davis Wiki has a Black Widow entry, which says "Around Davis you can find them in garages, woodpiles, under decks, and hiding in other dark places. If you ever open up a media box at Aggie Stadium, it would be unusual for you to not find a couple hiding."
