City Of Davis Recruiting For Personnel Board
Davis is accepting applications from people 18 and older who are interested in serving as an alternate member of the city's personnel board.

DAVIS, CA -- The City of Davis is accepting applications from residents 18 years of age and older, who are interested in serving as an alternate member of the City of Davis Personnel Board.
The Personnel Board is an on-call body and meets as needed when appeals are submitted. The functions of the personnel board are as follows:
- To provide advice to the City Council and the City Manager through neutral and objective judgments concerning personnel issues and thereby help to ensure fair and equitable conditions of employment in City service;
- To fulfill all obligations and responsibilities imposed upon it by the personnel rules;
- When requested by the City Council or the City Manager to investigate and make recommendations on any matter of personnel policy; and
- To review any proposed new personnel rules or any amendments to existing personnel rules and make recommendations related thereto to the City Council or City Manager.
Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 23 Russell Blvd. during regular business hours, or downloaded at http://cityofdavis.org/city-hall/city-council/commissions-and-committees/apply-to-serve-on-a-city-commission.

The application deadline is April 19.

Applications may be submitted, in person or via mail to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, CA 95616; or via e-mail to ClerkWeb@cityofdavis.org.
In addition to the application form, applicants will participate in a 10-minute private interview with the City Council subcommittee and City staff. Applications are tentatively scheduled to be submitted to City Council for appointment in May/June 2017.
