Computer Stolen From Frat House, Mystery Cell Phone on Porch & More Crime

Here is a daily collection of calls from today's police report.

5:49 am – 911 Hangup at Sycamore Lane and Villanova Drive: “Crazy people are on Sycamore headed toward the high school.”

9:11 am – A dog was left inside a parked vehicle on Picasso Avenue. The vehicle was halfway exposed to the sun. The windows are partly rolled down, but the dog appeared to be panting.

10:30 am – A $900 computer was stolen from a room at Pi Kappa Alpha on Russell Bulevard.

11:56 am – The reporting party came home to what appeared to be an old-looking cellphone near her front door. She was reluctant to touch it.

3:58 pm – Three juveniles were trying to smash bus stop panels near Pole Line and Loyola.

4:03 pm – A blue Jeep Cherokee rear ended the caller as she was driving on Mace and turning on to the I-80 West ramp.

8:01 pm – The reporting party called saying that her grandson was being killed. It’s unknown if the address on Wake Forest Drive is correct. The female disconnected. 

8:04 pm – The reporting party received seven phone calls from an unknown person threatening to come to her house and shoot her son.

10:14 pm – An elderly female was walking up and down the middle area of Wake Forest. She appeared to be disoriented. She said she doesn’t want help and was praying to God.

10:16 pm – Someone shot out a window at the Silverstone Apartments. Unknown if it was a handgun or BB gun.
