Daily Mail Collection Comes to UCD Campus

Mail delivery and pick-up had dwindled down to just a couple of days per week on campus.

Faculty and stuff often need to send and receive important mail with more urgency, according to the UC Davis website. Mail Services has offered a solution. 

Mail will be collected daily at seven new mail drop boxes scattered across campus. If you place your mail in a box by 2 pm, it will be processed the same day. Here are the locations of the new drop boxes, which are already being used: 

1. Memorial Union — next to the FedEx box on the south side of the bookstore.
2. Meyer Hall — along Bioletti Way, next to parking Lot 47, to the west and across Bioletti Way from Meyer Hall.
3. Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science — at the west edge of parking Lot 2, adjacent to the brewery, winery and food science laboratory.
4. Surge II (west of the Silo) — next to the library’s book return box along Hutchison Drive.
5. Tupper Hall — parking Lot 53, southeast corner, across from the Tupper Hall receiving dock.
6. Mrak Hall – A box that used to be limited to accountin mail has been relabeled.
7. 1706 Hoagland Hall – Inside the Repro Graphics shop.
