- Came in as a pinch hitter, at which point Tim McCarver (the announcer) mispronounced his last name. He then layed down a perfect sacrifice bunt to move a runner from 1st to 2nd base.
Game 2 (Rangers Win)
- Filled in at 3rd base late in the game. McCarver said this when Descalso came up to bad, implying that he wouldn't be a very difficult out: "If he was that good of a hitter, he'd have started tonight." Descalso didn't defend his name this time, grounding out and going hitless.
- Perhaps he'll get a chance to make McCarver eat his words in Game 3 on Saturday.
