Davis Amtrak Station to Close Aug. 25-27
Trains will still run through the station, but the building will be temporarily shut down for maintenance.
Heads up, Amtrak riders: the will be closed Saturday Aug. 25 through Monday Aug. 27 while the City of Davis conducts repairs on the building, according to a Capitol Corridor alert.
Passengers can still get on and off the train in Davis, but they won't be able to check baggage or use the restrooms or waiting area.
If you're planning to ride the train that weekend, buy your tickets in advance or print them out at home, since you won't be able to pick them up at the station.

An Amtrak staff person will also be available outside the station during business hours to answer riders' questions, according to the alert.
