Raheem, who had been living in San Francisco, was wanted on a warrant in Davis after allegedly striking a man in the face and breaking his jaw back in 2006. He was arrested, but he never showed up to court, hence the warrant.

The Davis Police Department worked with authorities in San Francisco to get Raheem into custody.
He will be taken from San Francisco County Jail to Yolo County Jail -- if he hasn't already -- where he will go through the court process that he started before. Whether or not the victim will take part in the process will depend on how the court proceedings go.
βIf it gets resolved early, without a whole lot of testimony,β Doroshov said. βMaybe they wonβt need him. If it gets drawn out, they may.β
As for the person who Googled his name, police are not releasing much information so as to ensure anonymity of the source.Β
