Superintendent Winfred Roberson and her family after their home netted $100,000 for the school district in Patch’s national Deck the House contest.
Roberson wanted to see if she had any ideas for how the money should be spent, to which Powell said she trusts the district’s decision, with hopes that the money will directly benefit the kids.

The community was extremely active in making sure Davis won the contest, so we expect that same kind of enthusiasm to be at play when it's time to spend the much-needed money.
I’ve spoken with many people about this: Some say we should save a couple of teaching positions, while others say the money should be evenly distributed between all schools. There are a thousand answers in between, all of which are legitimate.
