"Investigate 9-11" Sign Held over Freeway on Anniversary

Freeway blogging is the act of holding a large banner over a freeway where drivers can see it.

Video emerged yesterday on a website called FreewayBlogging.com in which several people gather on a bridge over Highway 80 on the 10th Anniversary of September 11 with a sign that says: “INVESTIGATE 9-11.”

The group, who was approached by an officer, filmed the video on the Dave Pelz Bike Overpass. The YouTube user who uploaded it goes by the screen name UhMark. September 11 was exactly one month ago today. 

The reverse side of the sign, which could be seen by some people driving east bound, said “9/11 was Created by US Gov to Manipulate US Into War.” The freeway bloggers calculated that after about 3 ½ hours on the freeway, they probably reached about 12,000 drivers on 9/11. Of those drivers, the blog says:

Many people honked. We always assume they honk because they agree with us. There were a few brainwashed victims of the corporatocracy’s propaganda but we do not worry about them.  This was a great way to take action in memory of 9/11 and the ongoing wars and deception that is being carried out in the name of 9/11.

Much of the discussion in the video is between the freeway bloggers and Officer Benson of the . Benson is responding to a complaint, and checking to make sure the sign is not secured to the fence, which would be illegal. The sign is not secured, as you can see in the video.
