Plane Crashes in Field Near Davis

The Piper PA-38 Tomahawk went down one mile south of the runway at the Yolo County Airport.

A small plane crashed one mile south of the Tuesday after the aircraft lost power. The pilot survived the crash.

The Piper PA-38 Tomahawk went down at 4:37 p.m., according to KCRA. They captured footage of the overturned plane from their helicopter.

The male pilot, who was not named, had been flying from Fresno, according to The Davis Enterprise.

Officials are investigating the crash.
