Poll: Do you Still Use a Phone Book?
Many of the phone books that were delivered to my apartment complex last week are still on residents' doorsteps.

I walked into my apartment three days in a row before it occurred to me that I should pick up the phone book that was sitting at the base of my door.
As I swooped it up, I noticed that my neighbors' book was sitting there as well, right next to mine. (It would remain there for a whole week longer).

Once I had the crisp, plastic-wrapped book in my home, I decided to tuck it into a box of camping equpiment so it could be used as kindling for our next campfire. It's not to say that the phone book doesn't have useful information in it; it's just that I don't see myself thumbing through it when I've got Google Voice and the Davis Patch iPhone app on my phone.
Phone books are still on the doorsteps of many units in , which houses many UC Davis students. I'm wondering if the same can be said for others in Davis. Vote in our poll below.
