The Bee ran a story today that said “multiple parties” were interested, because of the size of the store and the proximity to downtown.

They’re not yet certain when the conversion will happen. A pop-up Halloween store is in the space right now.

With the arrival of Whole Foods, the grocery scene in Davis looks to get a bit more crowded, especially for stores like the , and , all of which place extra emphasis on fresh, organic products, similar to Whole Foods.
