SF Woman Allegedly Threatens Amtrak Conductor With Knife

Monyea Monique Johnson, 27, was arrested Tuesday at the Davis Amtrak stop.

A San Francisco woman was arrested Tuesday after she threatened an Amtrak conductor with a knife, Davis Police say.

Amtrak officials told 27-year-old Monyea Monique Johnson to get off the train in Davis around 12:35 p.m. Tuesday because she didn't have a ticket, according to a post on the Davis Police Department's Facebook page

"The female became agitated, spit on the conductor, and pointed a knife at the conductor," the police department said. "While brandishing the knife, the female also threatened the conductor."

Johnson had put away the knife by the time police arrived, but was arrested on battery, threat and weapon charges, according to the department. She also spit on the officer who was arresting her, police say, adding "battery on a peace officer" to her charges.

She was booked at the Yolo County Jail.
