Souza Takes Bike Ride to Announce Council Reelection (MAP)

This election comes at a time when Souza has been heavily criticized about rising water rates and the Woodland-Davis water project.

Councilmember Stephen Souza will announce his candidacy for reelection on Saturday, November 5.

The announcement will take the form of a bike ride, starting at 10 am at the . From there, he will lead a bike ride through town. The stops along the ride represent “promises made and promises kept” during his last seven years on the council.

This election comes at a time when Souza has been lately by Bob Dunning in the Enterprise, David Greenwald in the Vanguard, and many others who oppose the Woodland-Davis water project.

It will likely be a major part of the election conversation, even if it gets very little discussion during Saturday’s announcement bike ride.
