SUV Overturns in Downtown Crash

At least two vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of Russell Boulevard and B Street on Sunday afternoon, witnesses said.

Bystander J.W. Mitchelle said he was sitting on the steps of Davis City Hall when a white sport utility vehicle going west on Russell Boulevard made a right turn onto B Street.

The SUV had turned onto its side and slid in his direction when it made contact with the other vehicle, Mitchelle said. Here's a video interview of the witness account.

Two victims are in stable condition at the UC Davis Medical Center, according to the Davis Police Department.
