Today: Picnic in the Park with Over Forté

Come out to this afternoon for some Dixieland and classic jazz music provided by the band Over Forté. 

Music will begin at 4 pm and will last into the evening.

Dixieland is one of the earliest forms of Jazz music, according to Wikipedia. If you’re not familiar with it, here you go: 

[Dixieland] is a style of jazz music which developed in New Orleans at the start of the 20th century, and was spread to Chicago and New York City by New Orleans bands in the 1910s. 

So pack up your dancing shoes and your canvass bags and head over to Central Park for some healthy food and some healthy music.
