Two People Tried to Lure an 11-Year-Old Davis Boy Into Their Van
The suspects were described as a male and female in their mid '60s.

Two suspects in a green van tried to lure an 11-year-old boy into their vehicle on Thursday. The van was parked in the area near Halcon Place in Davis, according to Police Lt. Paul Doroshov.
Doroshov elaborated on the situation in the following statement:
Shortly after 1:00 in the afternoon, officers were dispatched to Halcon Place in Davis for a report of a suspicious circumstance. An 11-year-old boy told a neighbor that two unknown suspects pulled up in a green Ford van and asked if he would get inside the vehicle. The boy refused and rode off on his bicycle. He was followed by the suspects in the van for a short distance until they gave up and left the area.

The suspect vehicle was described as a full-size green van. The occupants were described as a male and female in their mid '60s. Police are actively investigating this event; anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
