VIDEO: Davis Occupier Discusses Media Distortion at Occupy Sacramento

One of the people behind the has also played a very active role in . That person is Bernie Goldsmith, who speaks in the above video, which has accumulated about 680 views in the week since it’s been posted.

Goldsmith used to work on Wall Street, serving the institutions the Occupy movement is now rallying against. He has made and handed out “Occupy” buttons and has played an active role in organizing and planning the movement in Davis. He's been quoted in this publication several times and we spoke briefly in the park earlier this week. 

In the video above, he criticizes the way some media has portrayed the movement and explains its unifying idea:
