Want to Join a Book Club? Here’s How.

Book clubs are a good way to meet new people and dive deeper into a book you would otherwise just casually read.

Editor’s Note: I was in a book club last year and although I didn’t enjoy every book, I found the company and the conversation very enjoyable. I’m hoping to attend this event myself. - Justin

Reading preferences, selection process, meeting logistics and discussion facilitation early on creates book groups that are well run, interesting and rewarding.Β 

The , located at 315 East 14th Street in Davis, invites those wishing to create a book group or those searching for the right book group to attend a Book Group Orientation on Wednesday, November 9, 7-8 pm in the Blanchard Room.

β€œJoin us at the Davis Branch Library on November 9 where our librarians will offer tips on setting up and running a book group, or finding the right book group,” said Yolo County Librarian Patty Wong.
