WATCH: “Butterscotch” Beatboxes at UCD for President Obama

A Davis woman whose beatboxing skills took her to the finals of the TV show America’s Got Talent in 2007 was recently featured in a collection of videos that will be relayed to President Obama.

Antoinette "Butterscotch" Clinton is a beatboxer, meaning she mimics drums and other percussion instruments using only her voice. In the video, Butterscotch says, “I think it’s so important for kids to get a great education with music and arts because that’s what shaped my life.”

She then goes on to give a short beat-boxing performance. The video, according to YouTube user internetofexperience, is a Bulacard. What's that? 

We are distributing RFID-tagged postcards (Bulacards) at live concerts and events that focus on mentoring and education.  We are helping the audience link photos, music, and videos messages to the Bulacard.  My personalized RFID technology allows the audience to actively participate in a live musical event and share it on the “The Internet of Experiences.”
