What the #@$%! Davis Patch Blogger Fills in for Bob Dunning

Michael Ann Riley was one of the first bloggers to . She’s a very cool person and I’m happy to have met her.

She also has a potty mouth. She confessed as much in a Davis Enterprise column that went online today. Standing in for the great Bob Dunning, here is a bit of what she had to say:

I know … it’s not very ladylike. I’ve been told this. But I just can’t help myself. Besides, I never claimed to be a lady. I’m a woman — with strong emotions.

Riley is the personality behind two local blogs, both of which I highly recommend. The Big Green Bowl is a food blog that focuses on baking. Check out her Strawberry Cream Dessert and you’ll see why I recommend it.

She recently started another called Thinking in my Head, which is more broad-themed in its subject matter. It is both thought-provoking and funny. She has rapidly gained an audience, which is no surprise at all to me.
