During an investigation, the Yolo County High-Tech Crimes Taskforce found provocative photos of the victim on Dudkin’s computers and cell phones. The DA's Office elaborated in a release:

Deputy District Attorney Sara Abrate prosecuted the case and stated “With the assistance of the High-Tech Task Force we were able to locate evidence that supported the victim’s statements and obtain a plea from the Defendant. This plea ensures that justice has been served not only by taking a child molester out of our community but also by protecting the victim from the trauma of having to testify in court. In addition, the sentence he will receive will ensure that he will not harm another child.”

Dudkin faces life in state prison and will be sentenced on August 24, 2012 by the Honorable Judge Stephen Mock.
