[UPDATED] DB Man Pleads Not Guilty to Molestation Charges
A Diamond Bar man was arrested Thursday in connection with three felony charges of molestation against females under the age of 14 while he was teaching at Foster Elementary School in Compton.
A Diamond Bar man was charged this afternoon in a Compton court on three counts of committing a lewd act on a child under 14. He pled not guilty to each charge.
Ronald Sture Hoppe, 45, is a former teacher at Foster Elementary School in Compton. During his time at the school, police suspect Hoppe molested three female students between 2005 and 2008.
If convicted as charged, Hoppe faces up to 10 years in prison.

Ronald Sture Hoppe, 45, was set to appear in Comtpon Superior Court today for three charges of committing a lewd act on a child under 14.
Police suspect Hoppe of molesting one student between August 2005 and June 2006, another between August 2007 and June 2008, and the third in November of 2008, according to criminal complaint.
Hoppe could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted on all three felony counts. He was held on $300,000 bail.
