Indoor Marijuana Grow Valued at $800,000 Found at La Puente Home
More than 350 plant were found but no arrests have been made.
Deputies found an indoor marijuana grow with 350 plants worth $800,000 at a La Puente home Wednesday.
Industry Sheriff's deputies assigned to the La Puente Special Assignment Team received tips and after executing a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Chatterton Avenue, entered at 11:45 a.m. and found the large-scale marijuana grow inside the house, according to a news release.
The home had more than 350 plants at various stages of growth, as well as high-intensity lights, fans, blowers, and ducting that deputies seized, according to authorities.
Southern California Edison, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration & Customs Enforcement agents also participated in the investigation.
The investigation continues. No arrests have been made at this time, but deputies have identified several people associated with the indoor grow, authorities said.
